Thursday night on The Writer's Block Radio Show we chat with DAVID KETTLEHAKE, author of the just published riveting science fiction title, GRAY. Performing her brand of country & western music professionally since the age of sixteen, ANGELA MEYER is a storyteller with a passion for her listeners, she stays true to "three chords & the truth". Angela pulls in the crowd with a sweet voice and brutal honesty. She knows what it's like to be in the audience, her earliest memories taking her back to being a child dancing in smoky tent while her mama sang on stage with her band at the Iowa State Fair.

Even before she could talk, Angela was singing along with the radio and introduced to her musical heroes through her grandparents’ record player in their Iowa farmhouse. Around 10 years old, they gave her a guitar for Christmas, but it was so large she had to lay it across her lap to learn how to play it.  She finally revisited the guitar at fifteen, starting to write her own songs and creating the foundation that has built her dream into a lifelong career.

She isn’t afraid to tackle heavy topics within her songwriting, but also pokes fun at the humor in everyday life. Her first love was the horse, and she knew nothing about “western music” until committing a crime she swore to never do...falling in love with a cowboy. Now she has fallen in love again, this time with the tradition & respect within a community of folks passionate for preserving this beautiful way of life.

Born and raised on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies, Trina Morris has earned her way to become a talented Horsewoman. Her horseback life began as a 2 year old riding in a pack box to Mt. Assiniboine learning the tricks of the trade from her farrier, teamster, and outfitter father. Trina now resides in Wheatland, Wyoming on her ranch where she has a small herd of cattle and conducts Horsemanship and Cow Working clinics to Men and Women all over North America.

According to author DAVID KETTLEHAKE, his fascination with reading began at a very young age. With three novels to his credit, he vividly remembers reading under the covers at night with a flashlight, while listening for the footfalls of his parents telling him (for the last time!) to go to sleep.
