From the Publisher:
The television series that premiered in January 1971 had a short run of only three seasons but its popularity is in inverse proportion to its time on the air. Its fifty episodes were enough to garner fans that have remained loyal to the show for thirty years. Alias Smith & Jones: The Story of Two Pretty Good Bad Men showcases the episodes and provides a behind-the-scenes look at one of the last of television's popular westerns.

About the Authors:
Sandra K. Sagala
hails from Erie, PA. Though living in the east, she has become a western historian. Her first love was Alias Smith and Jones, but she's gone on to have University of New Mexico publish her book about Cody's theatrical career, Buffalo Bill on Stage. She's also written several articles on Cody and was awarded a Buffalo Bill Historical Center fellowship to research yet another Cody-related project. She's employed at the Erie County Public Library.

JoAnne M. Bagwell is the westerner of the partnership, a lifelong resident of Orange County, CA. Her love for the television show Alias Smith and Jones led to a deep and abiding interest in screenwriting and a degree in Film Studies. Having met Sandy through an Internet fan group, she at last put her degree to good use in collaborating on Alias Smith and Jones: The Story of Two Pretty Good Bad Men, her first book. JoAnne lives in Mission Viejo, CA and is currently working on a novel.
