CORB LUND FEATURED GUEST ON CAMPFIRE CAFE

An alt-country singer-songwriter, CORB LUND, is from Alberta, Canada. He grew up in a ranching and rodeo family in the foothills of Southern Alberta, then spent the early years of his career writing songs and playing bass for the indie rock band “the smalls.”

Lund’s music reflects his Western heritage and rock and roll roots. His distinct blend of Americana-meets-roots-meets-alt-country has attracted accolades from critics in Canada and the U.S., who have called him “one of the best contemporary country songwriters” (Popmatters) and one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” (Rolling Stone Country).

SADDLE UP AMERICA WITH GUEST GINGER GAFFNEY
AUTHOR OF "HALF BROKE"
An alternative prison ranch in New Mexico conducts a daring experiment: setting the troubled residents out to retrain an aggressive herd of horses. The horses and prisoners both arrive at the ranch broken in one way or many— the horses often abandoned and suspicious, the residents, some battling drug and alcohol addiction, emotionally, physically, and financially shattered. GINGER GAFFNEY’s job is to retrain the untrainable. With time, the horses and residents form a profound bond, and teach each other patience, control, and trust.
Airs live every Thursday on Equestrian Legacy Radio 10:00am (PST), 11:00am (MT), 12:00pm (CST), 1:00pm (EST).

WELCOME FALL! PUMPKIN SPICE, A GOOD BOOK, AND A COZY BLANKET
WELCOME FALL! PUMPKIN SPICE, A GOOD BOOK, AND A COZY BLANKET

September 15, 2020

Days are warm yet cool nights and chilly mornings remind us FALL IS COMIN'. Fireplace lit, Pumpkin Spice is back and there's an autumn wreath on the front door. BLANKETS are calling me! What's your routine to "Greet The Day?" Sitting on the patio with my daily read, watching the birds at the feeders, hot beverage at my side, and a cozy blanket across my lap that's my "Good Morning World" routine!

With your comfort in mind, I've selected a few customers' favorites from OutWest Shop's HERO FOR HOME COLLECTION!  During the month of September 2020 when you make a purchase of any of these blankets, 20% is donated to support low power, community, non-profit radio station - KUPR - home of the OutWest Hour Radio Show. New blanket styles are added to this collection regularly. Softer and warmer than fleece, these unique blankets are made from an innovative fabric called Microplush. Double sided, machine washable and dryable, softer with each washing. Our vendor partner has everything in stock now - but winter's coming!
