Route 66 also known as “Mother Road," “The Main Street of America” and “The Will Rogers Highway." is still 85% drivable today. Bobby Troup wrote the song, "Get Your Kicks on Route 66" in 1946. Its popularity has never faltered, with catchy lyrics and a finger snapping melody, once heard it remains in our subconscious forever! "Well if you ever plan to motor west, Just take my way that’s the highway that’s the best. Get your kicks on Route 66."

Enjoy radio host Bobbi Jean Bell's musical tribute, "Travelin' on Route 66," heard on the OutWest Hour, Placitas, New Mexico LP Community Radio Station KUPR.
