Joe Green Ten Gallon Records 2007 Please Note: unwrapped with small crack on jewel case front
From our Purveyor of Music: The third Sunday of every month there is a special session sponsored by the local chapter of the WMA (Western Music Association) at my old stomping grounds, the Autry National Center. Held in Heritage Court, I have seen the audience for this monthly event grow from a handful of people to a faithful following of 100+. What started years ago with one or two local musicians, standing outside in the plaza, weathering blistering hot (or cold) temps has turned into a major monthly event. Musicians come from around the local area - some driving 100 miles or more to get there. One never knows who will show up - traveling musicians that find themselves in town on that Sunday are invited to come along.
Such was the story behind meeting Joe Green, a Texan. He was in town for a brief visit and made the monthly jam. I sat in the audience wondering who this handsome stranger was. Afterward, members of The Tumbling Tumbleweeds introduced me to him. Now, I'm introducing him to you. Enjoy JOE GREEN, Texas style!
Western musician and poet Joe Green stirs it up with his own brand of cowboy poetry and western music. This, his debut recording, Back to the Good Old Days, hit the top ten on all major cowboy and western music charts nationwide upon its release.
